2021 IASJ Jazz Meeting: 5-10 July, Munich Germany: onsite meeting will take place!

The 2021 IASJ Jazz Meeting in Munich, Germany will take place live!

Four student combos will be formed.

There is no limit on attending teachers and representatives.

Participation might be subject to daily Covid speed-tests provided by the host school.

Facial masks and social distancing might still be needed.

Important deadlines!

  • Tuesday 25 May, last day to propose students
  • Friday 28 May: notification which students are selected
  • Thusday 3 June, noon, CET: selected students must have been confirmed by the sending school! No confirmation = no reservation = no participation. Do not book student travelling before this message is send.

The confirmation email must contain this text:

Herewith I confirm that selected student <name student> who plays <name instrument/vocals> will participate in the 2021 IASJ Jazz Meeting. Please make a reservation for the student in the dorm. The costs will be paid by <name of sending school>.

The final concerts are live-streamed from the ‘Unterfahrt’, the famous jazz club in Munich. Each night 2 student combos perform.

The General Assembly is on Thursday 8 July. IASJ representatives are invited to joint by ZOOM.

Lectures are live-streamed.

Ongoing Dialogues: no live stream but short reports by ZOOM.

Restricvtion for non-EER countries will probably be more severe.

Most likely all participants must be able to show a recent negative PRC test upon entering Germany.
